HSMA-Award 2005 / InterCityHotel placed first

When the 27th HSMA-Marketing Awards (»SAM«) were presented in Rust on 3rd June, 2005, the team of the InterCityHotel GmbH stood at the top of the winner’s podium. With their concept »The gentle evolution« the InterCityHotels gained the first place in the category »Communication« for the best business campaign in the hotel industry in 2004 / 2005, thus winning through against 30 competitors. With the competition initiated by HSMA (Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association) in 1971 under the name of »Advertisting Oscar«, special achievements in Sales & Marketing in the hotel industry in the areas of »Product«, »Price«, »Communication« and »Distribution« are awarded a prize and advertised every year.

In co-operation with Lekkerwerken and MGC Interactive the team of the InterCityHotels convinced the jury with the development and implementation of the business campaign »The gentle evolution« for the for the »Conference« and »Business Corporate Plus« programmes as well as for the careful further development of the existing corporate design.

A concept which implants itself in the target group’s minds thanks to targeted communication involving all marketing disciplines and which was appreciated correspondingly by the top-class HSMA jury.
