Project Description
How to predict volcanic eruptions? Where does lightning
come from? How do the forces of nature affect our lives? These questions will be answered with an online-special at ZDF Mediathek.
Within a vivid landscape shaped by natural forces the user brings a volcano into eruption, builds up gigantic waves, breaks off glacial ice or causes thunderstorms. An imposing sound intensifies the animated panorama in its natural impression.
All interactions are based on subject areas that accompany the TerraX-broadcast »Expedition Erde« and may be studied here. A click on the items directs the user closer to the action - and thus to the according theme.
Texts, picture galleries and videos (both enlargeable) give answers to pointed questions. A dynamic world map with latitudes and longitudes illustrates the current position.
