Project Description

Accompanying the trade fair presentation, Lekkerwerken implemented the microsite with information on the trade fair stand and the new machines presented there.

Tasks

Both the visitors and those who had not had the opportunity to attend the Anuga FoodTec 2006 were to be given the possibility to get to know the stand better. Thus, beside the new machines also the single stations which could be visited on the stand were presented.

Concept & Implementation

The main element of the trade fair stand, the blue helix, is the linking element. It serves as a navigation via which to get to the single stations.
Depending on the turn of the helix, texts and pictures come either from the left or the right. You move on a seemingly very large area.

• Use of many Flash8-specific options, like blurred movement and layer effects (multiplication of the pictures instead of alpha channels)
• The entire page was mirrored almost one to one as an alternative version in HTML
• The navigation takes place via a video sequence
• The entire text, the navigation and its structure (German and English) are imported via XML files
